- 01We exclusively use Hahnemühle German Etching (310 gsm) for all our fine art reproductions. This is a heavyweight, acid-free archival paper with a distinctively velvety, fine-textured surface. Unlike the 192g or 250g papers typically used by mass-market printing services, this 310g museum-grade paper provides a tactile depth and premium weight that mirrors the feel of an original work on paper. It is specifically designed to capture the atmospheric tones and intricate brushwork of oil paintings, ensuring your print remains vibrant and lightfast for decades.
- 02A Giclée (pronounced zhee-klay) print is a gallery-standard reproduction that far exceeds a standard commercial print in three ways: Longevity: We use archival-grade pigment-based inks (not dye), which are lightfast and can remain vibrant for over 100 years. Precision: Our 12-color printing system captures the subtle, atmospheric tones and gradients of the original oil paintings that standard 4-color printers cannot reach. Resolution: Every detail of the brushwork and paper texture is preserved, ensuring a museum-quality result that mirrors the depth of the original canvas.
- 03Unlike mass-market print-on-demand services, our production process is handled locally in Toronto with a focus on gallery-standard quality. We partner with one of the few Hahnemühle Certified Studios in the region to ensure technical precision. Each print is made-to-order, allowing time for the archival pigment inks to properly cure on the heavy 310 gsm etching paper. Furthermore, every piece is personally inspected and hand-signed by the artist before being secured for shipping. This deliberate pace ensures that the work you receive meets the highest professional standards. To ensure the integrity of the heavy 310g paper, all prints are shipped in flat, reinforced packaging rather than tubes.
- 04Our goal is to achieve a level of fidelity that mirrors the depth and atmosphere of the original canvas. Each painting is professionally captured using high-resolution Canon optical systems to record every subtle texture and brushstroke. I personally perform the digital color-matching to ensure the tonal range remains true to the original work. By using Giclée printing technology and museum-grade paper, we provide a reproduction that far exceeds standard commercial prints in both clarity and longevity.

- 06Because of the delicate, velvety texture of the 310 gsm paper, the surface is sensitive to natural oils and moisture. Handling: Please handle the print by its unprinted white borders only. Avoid touching the printed image area with bare hands. Flattening: If your print arrives in a tube, allow it to lay flat naturally under its own weight for 24 hours before framing. Display: We recommend framing your art behind UV-protective glass and avoiding direct, intense sunlight to preserve the archival pigments for decades.
